1. INTRODUCTION

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the TripTips website (the "Website"), including all content, functionality, and services offered, such as our video course (the "Course"). These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you (the "User") and TripTips ("Creator"). By accessing the website, creating an account, or using the Course, you accept these Terms in full. Please read them carefully.

3.4 International Sales and Taxes

As a small UK seller currently below the VAT registration threshold, no UK VAT is charged on purchases. However, customers are responsible for all applicable taxes, duties, import fees, and digital services taxes in their own jurisdictions. These additional costs are not included in the purchase price. Customers outside the UK are responsible for complying with all local laws regarding the purchase and use of this educational content. Any import duties, taxes, or fees imposed by your country of residence are your sole responsibility.

3.5 Refund Policy

All sales of the Course are final. As the course is no longer offered for sale, the statutory 14-day withdrawal period has expired for all past purchases.

Notwithstanding the above, if you are an existing customer experiencing significant and persistent technical issues that prevent you from accessing the core course content, please contact us at itstriptips@gmail.com. We will make a reasonable effort to resolve the issue. Any refunds in such circumstances are not guaranteed and will be issued at the sole discretion of the Creator.

If you sign up using a third-party service like Google or Facebook, we receive the profile information you authorize them to share with us, which may include your name, email address, and profile picture.

  • Email List Subscription: If you subscribed to our email list, we collect your name and email address.

  • Feedback and Reviews: If you voluntarily provide feedback or a review for the course, we collect the information you submit.

B. Information We Collect Automatically

  • Website Analytics: We use Wix's built-in analytics tools to collect anonymous, aggregated data about traffic to our website, such as the number of visitors and which pages are viewed. This data does not personally identify you.

  • Previous Analytics (Discontinued): We previously used the "Web-Stat" application, which collected technical data including visitor IP addresses. We have since removed this application from our website, ceased all data collection through it, and have deleted our account and instructed the service to delete all historical data associated with our site.

3. How and Why We Use Your Data (Our Lawful Basis)

We only use your personal data when we have a legal reason to do so. Our reasons are:

  • To Fulfill Our Contract With You: To provide you with access to the course materials and to manage your account.

  • With Your Consent: To send you occasional updates or marketing communications if you have opted-in to our email list. You can withdraw your consent at any time by unsubscribing.

  • Financial Records: We retain financial transaction records for up to 7 years from the date of the transaction.

  • Marketing Email List: We keep your information on our marketing list until you unsubscribe.

  • Customer Support Emails: We may retain correspondence for up to 3 years after our last communication.

5. Who We Share Your Data With

We are not responsible for the data practices of these third parties.

6. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

  • Analytics Cookies: We use Wix's built-in analytics to gather anonymous statistical information about how visitors use our site.

You will be presented with a cookie consent banner when you visit our site where you can manage your preferences for non-essential cookies.

Some of our service providers (like Wix, PayPal, and Google) are based outside the UK. When your data is transferred internationally, it is protected by legal safeguards such as the UK-US Data Bridge or Standard Contractual Clauses, which ensure your data is handled with a level of security equivalent to that in the UK.

9. Data Security

We take the security of your data seriously and use appropriate technical and administrative measures, such as two-factor authentication and strong passwords for our service accounts, to protect your information from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse.
